Your gift to the Clarkson Fund is extremely important to Clarkson because it provides resources that make an immediate impact. But your gift today is also an investment in the future. It is the commitment and support of alumni, parents and friends of Clarkson that guarantees that the University will continue to excel in a highly competitive market and educate leaders who will make their mark in the fast-changing global marketplace.
Last year, nearly 5,200 alumni, parents and friends made unrestricted gifts to the Clarkson Fund totaling $2,145,743 (fiscal year ending June 30, 2009). Our goal for the 2009-2010 year is to break raise $ 2.3 million for the Clarkson Fund.

Jerauld Adams, class of 1993, has been selected to serve as the new alumni chair of the Clarkson Fund. In this role, Adams will work with the University to increase alumni participation and unrestricted dollars raised in support of the Clarkson Fund. He will also serve as the liaison between the Alumni Council and the Clarkson Fund as a member of the council’s Executive Committee. Adams has been involved in several alumni activities. He has served as a Reunion Giving Chair, Reunion Activities Chair, Roundtable Committee member and Alumni Admissions volunteer. He has also hosted pre-game hockey events at his home. Adams received the Alumni Association’s Woodstock Award in 2008, which honors young alumni who have demonstrated outstanding loyalty and service to Clarkson and the Alumni Association. “Clarkson alumni play a meaningful role in the success of our alma mater and they recognize that their accomplishments are a direct result of the education they received,” said Adams. “It is my desire to surpass the Clarkson Fund goal we have set forth and exceed any previous giving accomplishments.” He received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Clarkson and earned his Master’s degree from Cornell University’s Program in Real Estate. An entrepreneur, Adams owns Adams Realty Endeavors Inc. and North American Industries Inc. He lives in Providence, Rhode Island, with his wife Sara and their 2-year old daughter.
