Research & Excellence Weekend 2017

Research & Excellence Weekend is a new event experience created for alumni, family of current students, and friends of Clarkson University to return to campus and celebrate the incredible accomplishments of our faculty, staff and students in the realm of academics and research. 

Highlights include:

  • The new Research and Project Showcase (RAPS), formerly called the SURE Conference, a research competition which combines undergraduate and graduate research poster presentations and oral presentations
  • RAPS and Faculty Research & Excellence Awards, which recognizes the best research presentations from RAPS and honors esteemed faculty who have received patents and research grants in the 2016-2017 academic year
  • All Campus Dinner with special menu at Ross-Brooks Dining Hall
  • The Phalanx Awards, where students, faculty and staff are presented leadership awards and inducted into Phalanx, Clarkson's highest honor society
  • The Presidents' Ball, an elegant evening of desserts and dancing hosted by President Tony Collins and Karen Collins along with Phalanx
  • All Campus Brunch with special menu at Ross-Brooks Dining Hall
  • University Recognition Day, an annual ceremony that recognizes undergraduate and graduate students in several departments across campus who have excelled academically during the 2016-2017 academic year

Register to attend Research & Excellence Weekend and receive a free gift upon check-in! Check-in will be open on Saturday, April 8th, 2017 from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. in the Student Center. 

Events with a fee or invitation only will be noted as so. Most events are free and open to all alumni, family and friends of the University. Please note that the Presidents' Ball is a semi-formal occasion.
